Debbie
and Frank went to eastern Tennessee in
early fall of 2011 to bring back this 1962 Ford Thunderbird that
a gentleman was selling to thin out his collection. The T-Bird
was originally from Georgia and the previous owner had done a minor
restoration and thankfully replaced or re-chromed the
bumpers and stainless trim. The car which originally cost $4,500 when new,
is uni-body design and
heavily insulated to insure a quiet and luxurious ride.
The options include power steering, power brakes, and factory air. Frank
replaced the interior trim and had Bob Fisher cut & buff the paint and
do some minor touch up painting. Debbie and Frank have made this car
their summer cruiser and will enjoy it with their grandson.
Frank has
completed his motoring desires in addition to owning a Harley and
a modified S-10 V8.
