Clyde and Meribeth's 1968 Camaro RS/SS
4-speed has won them awards in Arkansas, Wisconsin and Illinois. Clyde found this 1968 Camaro just a few miles from home.
It was sitting in a barn next to a 1958 Chevy convertible, ouch! The Camaro looked pretty good and ran well.
It is a true RS/SS and had a 396/375hp, or so he was told. Later he found out the 396 was a 350hp out of a 1970 chevelle.
He then got the original engine that was new with the car, had it rebuilt
and installed. Around 17 years ago Clyde had the car striped down and repainted. He has
a lot of fun with this bad boy. Meribeth added the power steering.
Meribeth and Clyde took it on 2005 (Milwaukee to Kissimmee) and 2007(Cleveland
to Little Rock) Hot Rod Power Tours If garage room is needed for a new project car,
Camaro will "STAY IN THE FAMILY"
