BLOOD SWEAT AND GEARS car club members Chuck R. and Kathy and daughter Regina built and show this beautifully restored, completely stock 1929 Ford Model A Special Coupe.  The "Special Coupe" was made only one year.  It took 9 years to restore.   It is an all number matching car and won the Illinois State Championship two years in a row.  This Special Coupe has 6 Best of Show awards and numerous trophies.  The colors are Rose Beige and Moleskin Brown with an Orange pin stripe.  The 1929 Illinois plate pictured was on the car when they purchased it in 1981. Ironically the numbers include the month, day and year of Chuck’s birth. Kathy saw this and said: "It was destine to be."
