BLOOD SWEAT AND GEARS car club members Ken and Peggy own this perfect 1965 Econoline pickup truck with rare trim option.  From June 1965 to July 1965 Ford produced only 95 of these Deluxe five-window Econoline pickups as a sales promotion.  They were equipped with Custom body side moldings, Deluxe spinner wheels and chrome front and rear bumpers.  This one was purchased new by Ken's uncle Tony at Stan Peterman's "new"  Ford dealership on Shooting Park Road in Peru, IL.  Ken bought it from uncle Tony in 1981.  It has 36,000 legitimate miles, and is powered by a 170 CID inline 6 with 3 speed gear box.
Ken and Peggy show it at 3 or 4 Illinois shows each year and attend a few cruises.
It is stock "poppy red" with gray interior.
